Irfan Pathan, a former Indian cricketer visited the school when the school building was still under construction. He was flattered by the idea of setting up an English medium school at such a remote village and was more amazed to see the enthusiasm of the children to learn and participate in sports. He emphasized the parents to make 100% attendance at the school possible. “..I still consider it very unfortunate that I couldn’t get an all throughout English education during my learning years but here at this village, you are lucky to have an English medium school that is going an extra mile to cater to not just the academic but extracurricular needs of the students as well. I request the parents to make the most of it.”
