With the objective to empower the underprivileged by the means of education, Refai Public School was set up in the remote hamlet of Boru in the year 2012. What started as a venture that operated from a two room rented facility catering to 86 students of the first batch, today has 463 students is spread across 5 acres of land with a three storey school building having 30 classrooms, one computer lab, an AV room, a dining hall, science labs and a brilliant collection of over 800 books for the library.

Our school is committed to ongoing teacher training, regularly inviting external experts to enhance subject knowledge and teaching skills. This dedication ensures our educators stay current with the latest methods and insights, ultimately enriching the learning experience for our students and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

During COVID, the school bridged the digital divide by providing students with tablets and free internet connections. This crucial support ensured that every child could participate in online classes, maintaining their educational progress and connectivity despite the challenges, and fostering continued learning during unprecedented times.

Starting with a two room facility to teach kids in the year 2012, slowly through collaborative efforts, the school today has 30 fully furnished classrooms, one computer lab, an AV room and a collection of over 800 books for the library.
The school is committed to providing Free Education, Books and Meals to its 460 students at present.
